1. Information we collect

Depending on how you use the website, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, billing and shipping address, order information, mower or accessory selections, property and service details, demo requests, warranty or repair information, back-in-stock requests, special purchase program requests and eligibility category, messages you send to us, and other information you choose to provide.

Payment information is processed by the payment providers used by our WooCommerce checkout. Waypoint does not need to store your full payment-card number to process a normal website order.

2. How we use information

We use customer information to process and fulfill orders, arrange shipping or installation, answer questions, provide mower recommendations, schedule demos and service, administer warranty or repair requests, review special purchase program requests, send requested back-in-stock notifications, prevent fraud or misuse, maintain our records, and comply with legal, tax and accounting obligations.

3. Back-in-stock notifications

If you ask to be notified when an item returns to stock, we use your email address for that requested notification. Signing up for a stock alert does not automatically subscribe you to unrelated marketing messages.

4. Demo, contact and service requests

Information submitted through our Contact, Request a Demo, Schedule Service, warranty and repair forms is used to respond to that specific request and to provide the related service or follow-up.

5. Special purchase program verification

For certain special purchase program requests, you may choose an eligibility category, select a qualifying document type and upload a redacted PDF or image for manual review. The website sends that file to Waypoint by email and does not add it to the WordPress Media Library. We retain the program request, selected document type, verification status and related transaction records needed to administer approved pricing. Verification email attachments are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for review, program administration, recordkeeping and any applicable legal or business requirements.

Please remove unnecessary sensitive information before submitting a verification document. DD-214 documents should have identification numbers blacked out.

7. When information may be shared

We may share information with service providers and business partners when reasonably necessary to operate the website or complete your request. This may include payment processors, website and hosting providers, email services, shipping and delivery providers, WooCommerce-related services, and Segway Navimow or its distribution and warranty partners when needed for fulfillment, product support, warranty or service.

We may also disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect customers, Waypoint or others from fraud, abuse, security threats or legal claims.

7. Marketing communications

Submitting an order, contact request, demo request, service request or back-in-stock request does not by itself enroll you in a general marketing list. If Waypoint offers promotional email subscriptions, we will use a separate opt-in mechanism.

8. Cookies and website technology

Our website and the services that power it may use cookies or similar technologies to maintain shopping-cart and account sessions, remember preferences, support checkout, improve security and understand website performance. You can control many cookies through your browser settings, although disabling required cookies may affect shopping-cart, account or checkout functions.

If you choose the optional satellite lawn-measurement feature in Find My Mower, the property address you enter and your interaction with the map are processed through Google Maps Platform so the satellite map can be displayed and the area you outline can be measured. You can skip this feature and enter your lawn size manually.

9. Data retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to complete the purpose for which it was collected, maintain business and transaction records, provide support, resolve disputes, and meet legal or accounting requirements. We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect the information in our care, but no website or electronic system can guarantee absolute security.

10. Your choices

You may contact us to ask about personal information you have provided to Waypoint, request a correction, or ask us to remove information that we are not required to retain for business, warranty, legal, tax or transaction-record purposes.

11. Children

This website is intended for adults shopping for or seeking information about lawn-care products and services and is not directed to children under 13.
